Mid Term Accommodation

Mid term accommodation covers a time base support that can help if you need a temporary place to live while waiting for your confirmed permanent home. At BJ Care Services, we open this service to participants already in our system and from outer basis.

When do I look for mid term accommodation?
  1. Facing a breakdown in support systems, necessitating a change in living arrangements.
  2. In progress of home modifications.
  3. Transitioning from hospital or aged care facility.
  4. Preparing the installation of assistive technology or support equipment.
  5. Pending the completion of a confirmed Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) home or new construction.

BJ Care Services’ Mid-Term Accommodation places individuals at the centre of their own lives whilst maintaining a structured and consistent environment. Participants looking for accommodation for an extended period of time are supported by support workers employed and trained in overnight assistance within the home as well as including all daily living assistances.

With a number of robust Mid-Term Accommodation locations, we are able to ensure that the participant remains in a safe environment that is tailored to their care needs.
