This holiday season marked an incredible milestone for BJ Care Services as we celebrated six years of delivering exceptional person-centred care and support across Melbourne. Our Christmas Party 2024, held at the stunning Berwick Springs Hotel, was a night to remember, bringing together over 40 of our dedicated support workers and their families.
A Festive Celebration of Gratitude and Connection
The evening was filled with warmth, laughter, and community spirit. Guests enjoyed a delicious Christmas feast, lively music, and fun photo opportunities at our festive photobooth. Families and staff dressed in their holiday best, creating a joyful atmosphere that truly captured the essence of togetherness.
A special moment during the celebration was when our Operations Director, John Ikahlia, and Services Director, Kelly Powter, addressed the attendees. They expressed heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering dedication and hard work of our team, highlighting the vital role every individual plays in shaping the success of BJ Care Services. Recognising Excellence: Staff Awards and Appreciation
A key highlight of the evening was the introduction of our first-ever Staff of the Year Award, presented to Pari Hualngo. Pari’s extraordinary dedication and genuine care for our participants embody the core values of BJ Care Services. Her contributions inspire our team to continue fostering an environment that prioritises the needs of those we serve.
In addition to this prestigious award, every support worker was honoured with a Certificate of Excellence. These tokens of appreciation reflect our deep gratitude for their tireless efforts and the positive impact they make every day.
