2018
Establishment of BJ Care Services
BJ Care Services was established in 2018 as an NDIS-registered provider, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in the disability sector to deliver high-quality care and support, particularly for individuals requiring NDIS services for complex behaviours.
2020
Expansion to the Western Suburbs
In 2020, BJ Care Services expanded into the western suburbs, including Melton, Sunbury, and Gisborne. To further our reach, we opened a new office in Officer in 2021. As a result, we have been able to support more participants and staff across these growing communities. This expansion has also enabled us to strengthen our presence and deliver high-quality, person-centred care to a broader range of individuals in need.
2022
Acquired Additional 24/7 Housing
2022 brought an expansion of our services by acquiring additional 24/7 housing. As a result, we increased our staffing capacity and established a stronger support network to meet the growing needs of our participants. In addition, we invested in new vehicles to ensure safe and reliable transportation. This investment allows us to offer secure travel options, providing participants with greater flexibility and access to their community whenever they need it.
2024
Increased Respite Housing
In 2024, BJ Care Services expanded its respite housing to accommodate additional 24/7 participants, enhancing our support for the community, participants, and their families, especially those requiring NDIS services for complex behaviours. To uphold our commitment to high-quality, personalised care, we’ve strengthened our management team and grown our staff to ensure compassionate support for each individual.

John has 30 years of experience in the disability sector, specialising in autism and mental health. With his extensive background, he provides compassionate, personalised support, guiding individuals to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Kelly Powter
Services Director
Kelly brings 27 years of experience in the disability sector, specialising in autism, mental health, and delivering NDIS services for complex behaviours. Her deep expertise and person-centred approach empower individuals and families to overcome unique challenges and work toward achieving their goals.
Raelene Marie
Administration & HR
Raelene brings 8 years of management and administration experience, specialising in aged care, disability, and healthcare. Her expertise and dedication to quality care make her a valuable asset to the Admin & HR team.
Jasman Kaur
Service Manager
Jasman brings 13 years of extensive experience in disability, acquired brain injury (ABI), domestic violence, and housing crises, providing compassionate leadership to ensure individuals receive the support they need.

Rostering Coordinator
Manfred has over 5 years of experience as a Disability Support Worker and 6 months of experience as a Rostering Coordinator. His frontline experience gives him a strong understanding of participant needs and staff support, allowing him to effectively coordinate rosters and ensure consistent, high-quality care for BJ Care Services participants.
Actavia Heath
Facility Officer
Actavia has over 13 years of experience as a Disability Support Worker, bringing extensive knowledge and dedication to support services and participant care. As the Facility Officer at BJ Care Services, she ensures the smooth day-to-day running of the house, maintaining a safe, organised, and comfortable environment for participants and staff. Her experience and attention to detail support professional facility management and high-quality service delivery.
